The Ex-President’s 1st Day In Prison, by Art Smukler, MD, author & psychiatrist

Donald, the ex-president, is in a small cell with 2 secret service agents, wearing an obviously too small orange jumpsuit, his stomach pushing against the cloth and the bottom of the pant-legs just below his knees. The agents are wearing dark suits, sunglasses, and spit-shined black shoes. They are all sitting on Donald’s single bed staring at the bars on the locked door.

Donald stands up and faces the two agents. “How could they give me a suit that obviously doesn’t fit? Right? It’s tiny. I can hardly breathe. Look!”

“Mr. President. You told the guard that you were six-feet, 10-inches tall and needed a slim fit”

“It binds my crotch. It’s killing me.”

The other agent is sitting, his face directly in front of Donald’s crotch. “Yeah that looks gnarly, Mr. President. I see what you mean.“

Donald looks around the 8 by 5 cell. “Where do I sleep?”

“On the bed. We’ll be here guarding you.”

“Melania says I snore. I don’t agree with her.”

The agents look at each other and shrug.

“I think the guy who gave me the small jumpsuit is a Democrat. I’m sure he is. Kamala really has it out for me. Why do you think?”

The two agents look at each other and shrug again.

“You think if I give the warden $100,000 in small bills he might give us a bigger cell?”

Have a great day. Whether in prison or out, it’s fun to read. Art
