Art Smukler, MD was born and raised in Philadelphia, went to college and medical school in Pennsylvania, and completed his psychiatric training at UCLA. He is a board-certified psychiatrist, specializing in the treatment of adults with a subspecialty in adolescents. As a member of the UCLA faculty, he ran an award-winning psychotherapy conference for psychiatric residents and received the coveted ā€œGolden Earā€ award. He has published in psychiatric journals, and won the award for excellence in creative writing at The Santa Barbara Writers Conference.     At least the Supreme Court gave him a defeat on the tariff issue yesterday. I read earlier this morning that Mitch McConnell is not going to let the SAVE act get to the senate floor for a vote. That’s encouraging as the act would require voters to prove their citizenship.

    Maybe Congress might find the spine to use the 25th. amendment to remove him from office. If not, I hope the November elections will result in a Democratic landslide so the next Congress could impeach and convict the orange menace.
